Shipping policy
Shipping timelines:
Shipped orders are typically processed within a business day of when the order is placed.
Note, we are closed for fulfillment on Thursdays, and do not process orders from approximately 12 p.m. Wednesday - 10 a.m. Friday.
In general, we expect orders to arrive 3-5 business days after shipment.
USPS routing and delays:
Orders are occasionally routed in unconventional ways through carriers' systems. This might look like an order bound for New Jersey that is scanned through a postal facility in Hawaii, or an order bound for the Bay Area that is routed through New York.
Unfortunately this is something that occurs in the USPS system and is not something we have any control over. These packages typically arrive, but are just delayed by a couple of days.
Lost packages:
We consider a package to be lost if it has not been scanned for three or more days. If you believe your item is stuck or lost, please reach out to us at contact@birdandbearcoffee.com.
Damaged items:
If you have any issues with your shipment please photograph the condition as it arrived, and contact us immediately.
We will happily replace or refund your product, and use your information to make a claim with the shipper responsible.
